Al-Marsad Newspaper: Sports critic Sultan Al-Lihyani responded to the question of sports journalist Walid Al-Faraj, in which he said, “How does the Saudi national team surpass its Mexican counterpart during today’s match?”
Al-Lihyani said, in televised statements on the “Action with Walid” program, that the most important point is balance and not rushing offensively in order to score a large number of goals in order for the Saudi national team to qualify.
And he continued: “The second point is the exploitation of the offensive defense of the Saudi national team, which gives a greater opportunity to exploit offensive transformations, and the time factor will be a great pressure on it.”
And he added: “The third point is the speed in the rebounds that characterize the Saudi team, such as Salem, Saleh Al-Shehri and Al-Buraikan,” expecting to rely on offensive transformations at the speed behind their lines, which is one of the most important solutions.
And he continued: “The fourth point includes closing spaces and defensive control for non-shooting, and defensive control in the event of crosses, the positioning for the defenders of the Saudi team.”
He concluded, saying: “The last solution is to pay, and the Saudi national team needs it, as it did in the Argentina match.”
