Science agrees on this, the public is now aware of this, also thanks to the work of climate movements, and this message is even increasingly being received in politics. However, the fact that land use, i.e. agriculture and forestry, will also play a central role in climate protection is receiving less public attention. Agriculture, forestry and other land uses contribute according to the IPCC sixth assessment report contributes around 22 percent to global greenhouse gas emissions.
