According to the entity, this identification mechanism allows access to different services by way of fast, agile and reliable guaranteeing the security of user data.
“Colombia requires an identification that allows to enable the access to digital citizen services of the State and to other entities that provide services through the Internet. The digital ID will be the access key”, indicates the Registry.
How to carry out the procedure?
- Enter the page that the entity made available (ceduladigital.registraduria.gov.co) and request your appointment for the digital ballot. Please note that this link does not apply to schedule appointments to process the yellow card with holograms.
- Register your personal data, place and time of the appointment and means of payment. If you made the payment in person, you must present proof of payment. If you want pay by PSE enter the information related to your account and make the consignment.
- Once approved you will receive a email where your appointment will be confirmed.
- Attend the appointment at Registry. There they will take your data biographical and biometric. In addition to this, you will be asked for your cell phone number and email, to which your digital password will be sent.
