How sweet is the news of people about you, my hero?

The Lebanese artist, Nadine Al-Rassi, recalled her brother, the late artist, George Al-Rassi, in poignant terms, noting his permanent presence with her, despite her repeated attempts to escape the thought of his loss and distance from her.

Al-Rassi added that people’s continuous talk about her brother thwarted all her attempts to ignore the matter.

And she continued: “How, my love, how, how sweet is the news of people about you, my hero, my brother.” And she concluded: “Oh beloved of God, my brother, for the number of people who love you, my life.”

Al-Rassi had recently revived the rites of the Feast of the Cross, which is specific to the Christian denominations, in order to perpetuate the spirit of her late brother, by adopting the same rites that the deceased used to practice on this feast in particular.

Al-Rassi shared with her followers, via “Al-Asturi” on Instagram, clips from the celebration of the feast, in one of the mountainous places in the heights of Mount Lebanon, and the ceremony included some special foods for that occasion.

The artist also remembered her brother, on the occasion of her mother’s birthday, by sharing with her followers some videos, from one of the years, during the late celebration of his mother’s birthday and singing to her on that occasion.

Tony Abi Karam threatens those who sing to George El Rassi without his permission

In another context; The Lebanese lyricist and composer, Tony Abi Karam, expressed his anger at some artists singing the songs of the late George Al-Rassi, whose words he wrote, and threatened them to resort to the judiciary in the event of not obtaining his permission.

And Tony wrote on his personal Facebook page: “Every person who wants to sing the songs of George Al-Rassi, who is here, is all of my words without my permission, and he also imagines that he will be publicized when he will go to the judiciary.

It is worth noting that the composer, Tony Abi Karam, had recently revealed that no lyric “duets” would be released that would bring together actress Nadine Al-Rassi and her late brother George, after the Al-Rassi family issued a statement saying: “The family is interested in clarifying in this regard that it will not Any new “duets” belonging to the late are released, so please stop releasing advertisements and “scopes” for private purposes, especially as the family is in a state of deep sadness.

Tony also confirmed that the duet that they had recorded earlier is an experiment with their voices, and he does not know what the problems exist between the members of the Al-Rassi family, at a time when he stressed that he had already stopped preparing for the song.
