Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip documented how an Iraqi child managed to penetrate 7 security checkpoints at Najaf Airport and get inside one of the planes without being stopped.
The video showed the child crossing the checkpoints professionally, as if he was trained in this matter. Where he relied on passing by families to delude whomever he sees that one of the family members passing through the checkpoints.
The documenter of the clip said: “The child was close to people so that airport security felt that he was with the family… He did not walk alone because no one might see and catch him… He crosses the checkpoint and does not continue and walks, but waits for a family to cross and walk with them as if with the family.”
He continued, “Except for all the checkpoints, and the inspectors didn’t feel it…and sneaked in like a coach, and they didn’t get out until following he entered the plane.”
And the authorities of Najaf Airport in southern Iraq announced, last Wednesday, that they will reconsider their security procedures following a ten-year-old child managed to bypass seven security checkpoints and reach a plane bound for Iran, and was reported by the plane’s staff.
