The ANCV’s initiative to offer seniors golden holidays
The National Agency for Holiday Vouchers (ANCV)has set up support systems for the holidays, not only for precarious families, but also for pensioners, especially those who receive small pensions. These initiatives allowed thousands of seniors to take advantage of stays at reduced rates. These stays, whether individual or in groups, offer a variety of destinations to meet everyone’s desires.
The “Seniors on vacation” program is one of the ANCV’s flagship initiatives. In 2021, nearly 49,000 seniors benefited from this aid. To be eligible, you must be over 60 (or 55 in the event of a disability), be retired or unemployed, reside in France and not be subject to income tax. Other companies, such as Air France, also offer benefits for seniors. Lhe Air France “Senior” card, accessible from the age of 65, offers up to 30% reduction on certain domestic flights.
