For some time now, Apple has allowed you to change the default search engine do Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Thus, it is possible to use one of the options offered by Maçã in addition to the traditional Google.

In addition to the traditional way of doing this on the Mac, through native browser settings, there is also another way to do this, directly through the address bar.

Check out how simple it is to do this! 🔍

With Safari open on your Mac, open a new tab or window. Then, click on the icon represented by a magnifying glass (on the left side and inside the address bar).

Then select which search engine you want to use:

  • Google
  • DuckDuckGo
  • Bing
  • Yahoo
  • Ecosia

In addition to doing this, note that in this area you can also check a list of all your recent searches, as well as being able to clear it if you want.
