The possibility of placing widgets on the Table (Desktop) was one of the highlights of the macOS Sonoma 14. We have even shown how to add them to this area of the system.
When you open an application window in the “front” of the Table, the widgets are normally monochrome, so that you are not distracted by the content in it while you are doing something else.
However, Apple also allows you to change this behavior in Mac settings. Check out how to do it! ????????
Open System Settings, click on “Desk & Dock” (in the left sidebar), and in the “Widgets” section, use the drop-down menu next to “Widget Style” to choose one of three options:
Automatic Monochrome Color
With this, the adjustment will also apply to your widgets that are already on the Table. ????
