ÖFB team goalkeeper Heinz Lindner announced on Instagram that he had undergone surgery for testicular cancer. The 32-year-old, who became a father in February this year and plays for Swiss club FC Sion, reports that the operation went very well. The tumor hasn’t spread yet and he expects to be fit and healthy on the field once more next season.
