O watchOS 10.1 brought, among other things, an interesting new feature to share your contact information with a friend or family member. This is the NameDropwhich we have already shown how to use in practice here in MacMagazine.
We’ve also already taught you how you can disable it on your iPhone, to prevent this feature’s interface from being triggered whenever you touch another device.
In this article, we will now show you how to disable this on the Apple Watch. Check it out! ⌚️
On your Apple Watch, open Settings, turn the Digital Crown until you find “Contacts” and tap on that option. Then turn off the switch located next to “NameDrop”.
Therefore, the NameDrop animation and the feature itself will no longer work from your smartwatch.
