This Sunday the election was held in Rincón de los Sauces. Mayor, seven titular councilors and seven alternates were elected. The register was 19,091 voters.

Nine lists were nominated, with four candidacies for mayor: César Godoy (Popular Unity), Norma Sepúlveda (MPN), Héctor Bollani (Inclusion and Work) and José Quintero Marco (Socialist Party).
Finally, Sepúlveda was victorious with more than 50% of the votes.

Then a menu opens for choose the option of not voting: for being more than 200 kilometers away, due to illness, for another reason, or for choosing to pay the fine.
