How to open Calendar events in separate windows [Mac]

Following with our articles focused on the native application Calendar (Calendar) from Apple, today we are going to teach a very simple trick aimed at those who use it on Mac.

This is the possibility of changing the behavior when clicking on an event that is in your appointment book. By default, when you do this, a popup menu opens to expand your details.

However, it is possible to open it in a separate window – if you want to have more control over it or even move it around your Mac screen, since this is not possible with the popup.

See how to proceed! ????‍????

With Calendar open, go to Calendar » Adjustments… in the menu bar or use the shortcut ⌘ command ,. Then, with the “Advanced” tab selected, check “Open events in separate windows”.

And that’s it! From there, just close the app’s settings window and double-click on an event with the mouse to see its details open in a separate window.

How do you prefer to use it?! ????️
