Until a while ago, if you wanted to delete your profile on Threads Definitely, Instagram also ended up entering the mix — displeasing many people.
After several complaints, this was reversed. This way, you can easily delete your account on the alternative network to X (formerly Twitter) without losing your photos and Instagram Stories.
Before showing the procedure itself, it is worth noting that this is being released little by little. So, if it still doesn’t appear for you, just wait a few days (or, at the latest, weeks). Let’s go?! ????
With the Threads app open on your iPhone, tap the doll (in the bottom right corner) and then the two lines (in the top right corner).
Then choose “Account” and go to “Deactivate or delete profile”. To permanently delete your profile, tap “Delete Profile”.
The network reminds you that, by doing this, your profile, your followers and your posts will be hidden until they are, in fact, removed from Meta’s servers within 30 days.
If you change your mind and want to return to using Threads, log in to the network within this 30-day period and select “Sign in” to confirm the cancellation of the deletion.
