To make a new publication in Stories on the platform, open the app, tap on the “+” (at the bottom), select the “Profile” tab and tap on the “+” next to your photo; or go to the “Inbox” tab and tap “Create” next to your name.
Then capture up to 15 seconds by choosing the “15s” mode at the top, pressing and holding the shutter, or using the “Photo” or “Text” modes.
You can also upload media that is saved on your device by tapping “Upload” at the bottom right. Make the necessary adjustments (like adding a song, an effect or a GIF) and select “Your Story”.
Once that’s done, go to “Publish — Everyone can view” to change the audience you want to see your Story. It is possible to choose between “Only me”, “Friends” or “Everyone”, in addition to being able to limit the comments. After that, select “Your Story” to send it.
To check the posts in the Stories format of the people you follow, just go to the “Inbox” tab and tap on the dots at the top. These posts can also be seen by going to the creator’s profile and selecting their profile picture.
