New Delhi: Malayalee player HS Prannoy has reached the career-best 7th rank in the international badminton rankings. Prannoy climbed one step in the rank list released by the World Badminton Federation yesterday. 30-year-old Prannoy is the only Indian player in the top ten. In women’s doubles, Malayalee player Teresa Jolly and Pullela Gopichand’s daughter Gayatri also gained in the rankings. Trisa and Gayathri’s alliance rose from 17th rank to a career-best 15th rank.
