The Chinese company, “Huawei”, the manufacturer of smart phones and networks, launched its latest phone in the middle class, which is called “Huawei P50E”.
The new phone comes with unique features that make it the best choice in the category that attracts young people who are always looking for value for a reasonable price.
The “Huawei P50E” phone, which comes with two (Nano) SIMs, works with Huawei’s “HarmonyOS 2” operating system.
The phone features a 6.5-inch HD OLED screen (1224 x 2700 pixels) with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The screen has a perforated hole to house the selfie camera, and offers a wide color gamut.
Settings and performance
The “Huawei P50E” phone is powered by a processor acceptable for its category, as it works with a powerful “Snapdragon 778G” eight-core chip developed by the American company “Qualcomm”, along with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage expandable via a memory card.
Connectivity options include “Bluetooth v5.2”, “GPS”, “GLONASS” and “Wi-Fi”, with support for 4G networks only. The phone includes a “USB” type “C” port, “NFC” and a fingerprint sensor.
The phone contains the traditional sensors, such as the gravity sensor, gyroscope, compass, ambient light sensor, light proximity sensor, camera laser focus sensor, and color temperature sensor.
The Huawei P50E has a 4100mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
In addition, the phone is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. The phone weighs about 181 grams.
Camera
For photography, the Huawei P50E features a triple rear camera setup, with a 50-megapixel wide-angle primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture.
The camera module also includes a 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor with an f / 2.2 lens slot, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with an f / 3.4 lens slot.
The camera supports optical image stabilization (OIS), portrait mode, panorama, time-lapse photography, small movies, high pixel mode, ultra wide-angle, ultra night mode, slow motion and other features of the Huawei phone camera.
For selfies, Huawei provided the phone with a 13-megapixel selfie camera with an f / 2.4 lens slot.
The camera also supports features like slow motion for selfies, smart switching wide-angle, portrait mode, panorama mode, time-lapse photography and timed photos.
Price and colors
The company “Huawei” launched the new phone in China in two versions, where the price of the basic version of the “Huawei P50E” phone is about $ 642, which comes with 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage space.
The upgraded version (8 RAM + 256 storage) comes at $ 705.
The Huawei P50E is available in distinctive colors, such as Cocoa Gold, Galaxy Blue, Obsidian Black and Snow White.
The phone is now available for pre-orders, and will go on sale starting March 24.
