Huawei officially announces its Watch Buds watch, along with 3 other hours

The watch has a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The body of the watch is made of stainless steel, and the watch band, which is available in black and brown, is made of leather, with a width of 22 millimeters.

Watch Buds support heart rate monitoring, SpO2 and sleep, pressure management, as well as atrial fibrillation heart rate and ECG readings.

The watch also offers 80 exercise modes, as well as AI noise cancellation for calls and audio. The watch weighs about 66.5 grams without the strap, while the weight of the earphones is 4 grams each.

The earphones are water and dust resistant according to the IP54 standard, while the watch is not completely resistant due to the opening mechanism. The watch provides Chinese BeiDou positioning technology, in addition to GLONASS and GPS technologies.


Programmatically, the Watch Buds operates with the HarmonyOS 3 operating system of Huawei, and Bluetooth 5.2 technology. The company claims that the watch with the pair of headphones has a battery life of up to 3 days.

The wireless earbuds get 4 hours of audio playback, or two and a half hours of talk time with the noise canceling feature turned off. It may take about 100 minutes to fully charge the headset via the magnetic charger.

Huawei has officially started selling Watch Buds at a price equivalent to $ 429 in China. There is no information on when it will be available for global markets at the present time.

The two watches also offer a 5-megapixel front camera, and an 8-megapixel rear camera, and both watches can be rotated 360 degrees, and even removed from the watch bracelet completely.

The two watches support cellular communication thanks to the nano-SIM chip, in addition to the ability to connect to Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth 4.2 technology. Both watches contain 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.


The Kids Watch 5X differs from the Kids Watch 5X Pro in size and weight, but the two watches support water and dust resistance according to the IPX8 standard.

Huawei intends to sell the 5X watch at a price equivalent to $ 230 in purple and black, while the 5X Pro watch will be sold at a price equivalent to $ 286 in pink and blue.

As for the fourth watch that Huawei announced today, it is the Huawei Watch GT 3 ProCollector’s Edition, and as the name suggests, it is a special version of its current watch, Watch GT 3, which features a black nanocrystalline ceramic cover with golden lines.

The watch is available in a size of 43 mm, and will be sold in China at a price equivalent to 717 USD.
