“Lebanese Debate”

Sources told the “Lebanese Debate” that “the Appeal Public Prosecutor in Mount Lebanon, Judge Nazik Al-Khatib, and following she sealed the investigation report with the Director General of the Traffic Management Authority, Engineer Hoda Salloum, gave the signal to raid her house this Friday evening.”

According to the sources, “an amount of $500, four million Lebanese pounds, and jewelry worth $3,000 were seized.”

Copies of documents belonging to her legal representative, who was preparing them to be presented before the investigating judge, were also confiscated.

The sources pointed out that “Salloum’s husband objected to the confiscation of the $500 that belonged to her as well as the legal documents, but Judge Khatib insisted on confiscating them.”

It is noteworthy that Judge Nazik had arrested Salloum on Tuesday evening, following interrogating her in the “Al-Nafia” file.
