Three alleged members of the Huérfano Masacre gang that operates between Falcón and Zulia were killed by police officers, who have been carrying out operations in the area since last week and a total of six have been killed.

This latest confrontation took place in Falcón, specifically in the La Ceiba sector, Mauroa municipality, Unión Radio published.

The authorities identified the criminals as José Gregorio Pimentel, Giovana Patricia Reyes, alias “la Machi” and Yanderlys Carrera, known as “la Flaca.”

During the operation, they also captured three other members of the criminal group aged 26, 41 and 50.

Weapons and other items of criminal interest were seized.

The Secretary of Citizen Security of Falcón, Miguel Morales, explained that this band Huérfano Masacre is dedicated to assassination, kidnapping, robbery, theft and extortion once morest producers from Falcón and Zulia.

It was also revealed that the leader of Huérfano Masacre, Jesús Ignacio Betancourt Pimentel, 25 years old, is currently on the run.
