The municipality of Quipungo, Huíla province, hosts, this Saturday, the fortieth edition of the National Cross Country Championship, for both sexes, according to a note from the Angolan Athletics Federation (FAA) to which this newspaper had access.
The same document states that registrations must be received, this Wednesday, at the headquarters of the sport’s governing body in the country, with a visa from the local Provincial Athletics Association or by email at geraltletism@gmail.
with. During the technical meeting, the note emphasizes that those registered in the Youth categories must present their Identity Card or Certificate.
The event will be contested in the junior, youth and federated categories, with the winners being awarded cups and medals.
Athletes have been improving their physical and mental aspects to dignify the colors of their respective teams. It should be noted that issues relating to food and accommodation will be the responsibility of those involved.
