Budapest/Vienna/Brussels – It is Hungary’s “sovereign right” to expel imprisoned foreign smugglers. This was emphasized by the Hungarian ambassador in Austria, Andor Nagy, on the Hungarian InfoRadio on Wednesday. Nagy denied that he was summoned to the foreign office because of this, saying it was just a consultation. According to the diplomat, Austria complained that there was no prior consultation on the decision to release the smugglers.
