Hybrid multiport adapter released for just under 90 euros

The company Satechi has released a new hybrid multiport adapter that offers space for an external SSD in addition to four connections. The device is primarily intended to add ports to tablets or laptops and to provide additional storage space with the SSD option. The corresponding connection should allow data transmission of up to 5 gigabits per second.

The new adapter gives you two USB-A, one USB-C PD and one HDMI connection options, which enable a maximum of 4K at 60 Hz with a direct connection. Charging via USB-C-PD works here with up to 100 watts. The onboard SSD slot is compatible with SATA M.2 SSDs and supports sizes 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280. NVMe is not compatible with the multiport adapter.
