During Brasil Game Show, HyperX marked its traditional presence at the event with a very eye-catching stand full of opportunities to try out products for the many visitors.

TudoCelular had the chance to chat with Caio Riccigeneral manager of HyperX in Brazil, where we were able to talk a little about the brand’s most recent launches and some glimpses of what’s to come in the future.

Honestly, when we talk about events, we will always hear a lot of emotion, right?

But no different from other years, BGS has always been a priority for us, and one thing that is very interesting for us to highlight is that we always seek to bring a new message, something new to BGS.

So, if we remember 2022, we mentioned the brand’s 20th anniversary. In 2023, we bring the message of our first DECA with BGS. There are 10 years of continuous participation in BGS.

The only pause that existed was due to the pandemic, not due to a lack of interest in participation. So, I think this is interesting and perhaps it answers a little about our priority, the message we are looking for so much, and our reality in maintaining this long-term relationship with BGS.

Specifically for BGS, we are highlighting two main products: the Cloud III, which you mentioned, and the HyperX Vision S, which is our first webcam.

The Cloud III, I think we can relive the Cloud II a little bit when we talk about it, but in a much more improved way, in terms of extreme comfort.

We can see an important reinforcement in the headphones that exist in the product and in the very issue of its design that allows this.

More focused on the ears, the hole here in the ear and also due to the much lighter design, not to mention the quality of reproduction and audio capture.

When we talk about audio quality, the drivers went from being 50mm in the Cloud II version to 53mm in the Cloud III. This will certainly accentuate the clear way in which you receive the sound, whether low or high. When we talk about audio capture, one notable thing is that the pop filter is something that is no longer necessary. And this comparison can be made very simply and this improvement, this advancement, that we brought to the product will be very clear.

When we talk about the webcam, we are talking about a path where we start to encourage in a much more complete way everything that is done for the content creator. This is our first webcam, something that we are bringing to our line and that was not a reality within the HyperX ecosystem.

With this type of product, our message becomes very clear. We already had the complete line of microphones for 2022, we talked about Armada in 2022 and now in 2023 we are bringing the webcam.

And yet, not necessarily just BGS, but something that has already been reported on HP Imagine, our audio mixer, which then makes the 360 work very well.

With Cloud III we have the same ambition as we had with Cloud II.

Cloud II, as incredible as it may seem, is one of the few products that, within the industry, you cannot explain the size of its success for so long. And we are replicating the same efforts for Cloud III.

Obviously this is a very premature space for us to consider, but we think it has a very long future and I don’t see success being any different if not greater.

Yes, we plan to launch this type of product. The answer is very objective and clear, so we have to wait a lot. I think that when we talk about HyperX this is already essential.

So I think we always have to be searching and thinking that a lot of new things are coming. When we talk about the relationship that exists between HyperX within HP, this makes this even stronger.

And this ecosystem will never be smaller, it will only be bigger. So we know that even the hybrid life model forces us to think about increasingly hybrid solutions, which serve the gamer, which serve the lifestyle, which serve the content creator of any other segment that may emerge. So the answer becomes very positive as we think about it.

Thinking about this relationship that exists between both brands, HyperX and HP, one within the other obviously, once again the answer is that we have to hope that anything is possible.

Projects, unfortunately we cannot publicize them so far in advance, but the ambition is very great for a wide range of options for the future.

What we have to expect is that all of these launches that we are announcing here, with the exception of Cloud III, which is already available, will all be physically present at an online point of sale from the first quarter of 2024.

Do you think HyperX and HP would make a good competitor for the Steam Deck, Legion Go, ROG Ally and the like?
