Hyundai Kona is waiting for a facelift soon. There will also be a sporty Kona N Line

The small SUV of the Korean brand will soon be modernized. The published trailer attracts to the reworked bow.

The Hyundai Kona has been on sale since 2017, so this is the ideal time to modernize it. And it is really approaching, as the carmaker has published the first trailer for a modernized model. The offer within the facelift will also be expanded by the sports-tuned design of the Kona N Line.

The first published images show a reworked bow, from various angles. Thanks to this, we know that the front parts will change fundamentally, even if they retain the characteristic solution of split headlights. However, they will be redesigned.

The carmaker itself talks about a broader stance and inspiration from a shark nose. The redesigned daytime running lights are intended to give the car a more modern look, while the new bumper enhances the impression of robustness.

The Hyundai Kona N Line then distinguishes itself with more aerodynamic shapes with a more aggressively shaped front bumper and low-positioned air intakes. The aerodynamics are also to be helped by small elements in the corners of the bow and precisely guided lines of the cross-sections.

The addition of the N Line version to the offer is then part of the expansion of the range of such named derivatives, which is already available for models today i10, i30 or Tucson. The carmaker believes that this variant will bring a new group of customers to the Horse.

More detailed information about the modernized Hyundai Kona will be revealed in the coming weeks. In addition to design changes, we also expect the use of a larger indoor multimedia system display or new mild-hybrid engines, which Hyundai is gradually expanding its range. Therefore, let’s expect the deployment of 1.5 T-GDI MHEV (118 kW) and 1.6 CRDi MHEV (100 kW) units, among others..
