The Syrian writer Sarab Ghanem, in the presence of a group of intellectuals, poets and writers, released her first book, entitled “I am a mirage for those who do not believe in water”, at the Mosaic Publishing House pavilion, as part of the activities of the Abu Dhabi Book Fair.
Sarab expressed her great happiness after the book was published in Abu Dhabi, thanking the organizers of the exhibition, which was organized by the Abu Dhabi Center for the Arabic Language.
She pointed out the importance of the exhibition, which attracts the most prominent writers and intellectuals, praising the UAE’s unlimited support for everything related to literature, culture and art.
Sarab stated that “the sentimental poems included in the book, with their various ideas, touch the conscience of anyone who reads them,” explaining that the contradictions and human feelings of women and men appear clearly in the content of the book.
In another context, Sarab confirmed that she constantly writes short stories and prose poems, in addition to poetry.
She explained that life experiences help her a lot in developing her sense of writing, noting that these experiences are the most important factor that helps writers to be creative.
Sarab concluded by confirming that she had previously written two manuscripts ready for publication, in addition to two manuscripts on the short story.
