“I started crying, I can’t take it anymore”

Joaquín Torres has finally undergone surgery to undergo the hip operation that has caused him to suffer so much in recent months. And his life changed drastically for the architect on December 4 when he suffered a spectacular motorcycle accident in Madrid.

But this has not been the only blow he has faced in this time. Last March, Joaquín Torres said goodbye to his mother forever.

A difficult situation that was accentuated by the war that the Torres family is having with Julio, one of their brothers. Unfortunately, pain has been Joaquín’s inseparable companion throughout this time.

At And Now Sonsoles we have spoken with him and he told us that, although the operation, in which he had a hip replacement, went well, the recovery has been complicated.

Even though he was convinced that he might return home because he can now stand up, he was told there was a problem. And there is a bone infection for which he has to be treated for two more weeks with intravenous antibiotics. “I started crying, I can’t take it anymore,” he said.

This infection occurred prior to the last operation for which the prosthesis was placed, so it is now at risk.
