Lokesh Kanakaraj is a director who has made his own place in South Indian cinema in a short period of time. His last directorial venture ‘Leo’ swept the box office collections. Therefore, all upcoming Lokesh films are aiming for huge collections.
Lokesh’s latest film is ‘Thalaiver 171’ starring Rajinikanth. Reports are coming out that Thalaivar 171 will start as soon as the shooting of TJ Gnanavel’s ‘Vettaiya’, in which Rajinikanth is currently acting, is completed. There are also reports that this will be Rajinikanth’s last film in his career.
But now Lokesh’s words regarding the film are being discussed. Lokesh says that the mistake made in Leo will not be repeated in his new film.
“I don’t want to announce the release date of my next film with Rajinikanth as it will put pressure on me to complete the film within the limited time. I need some time to do it well.
Leo’s second half received a lot of criticism, and I take that into account. I will be more careful in the future. A certain date came as a release date for Leo and created a lot of pressure. He had only 10 months to make the film. I will not repeat that mistake once more.” Lokesh Kanakaraj said in an interview to a Tamil media.
