The young man is said to have visited the woman at the vocational college in the followingnoon and been alone with her in the classroom. The accused then attacked and stabbed the 55-year-old with a knife.
The 17-year-old called the police himself
As the police and public prosecutor announced in the evening, the 17-year-old then called the police emergency number himself and was arrested without resistance. A homicide commission from the Münster police has taken over the investigation. There is no information yet on the motive for the crime.
School area cordoned off
With a large contingent, the rescue workers rushed to the vocational college in the followingnoon, which is near the Ibbenbüren train station. The area was cordoned off extensively. A rescue helicopter was also requested. For the population, however, the all-clear was quickly given. Passers-by and pedestrians are not endangered, it was said shortly following the alarm was raised.
