The president of the “Etic” party (Together for work, integrity and citizenship), Judge Ibrahima Hamidou Dème, announced his decision to present his candidacy for the presidency of the Republic.
He made the announcement in Thiès. « I have a great ambition for the reconstruction and modernization of Senegal with all the girls and all the sons of the country. All Senegalese, wherever they may be and whatever their conditions, must not be left behind. The slogan “Senegal for all” must finally become a reality”underlined the magistrate, taken up by Le Quotidien.

He adds “I am ready with the Senegalese to take up the challenges that challenge us today. We will together make the virtuous ruptures that our country expects and deserves”. Indeed, remarks judge Dème, “it is an in-depth reform that our governance needs. Virtuous, innovative, inclusive, participative, ecological, more social and more united. With a President with a new conception of his role: dynamic, innovative, protective, unifying, who will reconcile the Senegalese and unite them in justice. A President who guarantees the proper functioning and balance of the institutions. A President above the dividing lines, who listens to everyone and is at everyone’s service. Because the Senegalese need to find a more united, more fraternal, more united, more just and more moral country.
