Argentinian footballer Mauro Icardi, the Paris Saint-Germain striker, denied what was reported Thursday about the start of divorce proceedings between him, his wife and his agent, Wanda Nara.
An Argentine newspaper had detonated the bomb by publishing an audio recording of Luanda saying that she had asked for a divorce from the attacker, but Icardi on Sunday published a picture with his two daughters from Wanda at the airport and wrote under it “With them in Ibiza”, then a picture with his wife on the beach. Icardi denied that he was a candidate to leave his club, Saint-Germain, after his absence “to settle family matters”, as was reported after the team’s opening match against Clermont, and said: “Stop fabricating, the decision not to summon me was for technical reasons. I am already at home and I respect the attendance of exercises daily. Football is still the priority in my life and my career, what I can’t stand is that incompetent people try to slander me. Save your time before you write about me in websites or newspapers and take the right information. I traveled to Ibiza to be with the family because the coach gave us rest days and every player took the opportunity to leave himself wherever he was and with whomever he wanted.”
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that Icardi has denied the existence of differences with Wanda, following comments from her about the existence of differences.
