ICC has announced the best cricketers of September.

Dubai: International cricket organization ICC has announced the best players of the month of September. Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan was chosen as the best male player and India’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur as the female player.

Harmanpreet deserved the award for his brilliant performance in the ODI series against England. Harmanpreet won the award beating India’s Smriti Manthana and Bangladesh’s Niger Sultana.

India swept the one-day series against England by 3-0 thanks to the excellence of Harmanpreet. It is the first time since 1999 that the Indian women’s team has won the series in England. Harmanpreet scored 221 runs from three matches in the tournament. The player who scored 74 runs in the first ODI scored 143 runs from 111 balls in the second ODI.

Mohammad Rizwan won the Best Male Actor award beating India’s Akshar Patel and Australia’s Cameron Green. Rizwan had an incredible performance in September. The player played in 10 matches. Rizwan scored half-centuries in seven of them. Rizwan was in brilliant form in the Asia Cup and was the top scorer of the tournament.
