CHENNAI: The DMK has warned that if the Center does not withdraw from its efforts to impose Hindi, it will come to Delhi with a ‘Hindi Theriyat, Poda’ campaign. The decision was announced after a protest led by DMK youth wing leader Udayanidhi Stalin MLA against the Hindi campaign, NEET common entrance test and other central government policies. The ‘Hindi Theriyat Poda’ campaign was started in Tamil Nadu after Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement that English should be replaced by Hindi and people in different states should talk to each other in Hindi.
