Tetsuya Nomura confirms that there are no plans to revisit Dirge of Cerberus and Before Crisis.

Nevertheless, Tetsuya Nomuradirector of Final Fantasy VII Remake, has commented in an interview with Famitsu that those plans are not on the table.
“Nomura staff members said that they want to remaster Dirge of Cerberus -FFVII- and Before Crisis -FFVII-. I have also tried to calculate the cost, but I don’t have any plans right nowHowever, the director also comments that “instead of just waiting for the remake trilogy, I’d like to see you will touch the world of FFVII continuously and you will connect the trilogy”, so it is considered that all Final Fantasy VII titles, both the originals and the remakes / remasters, are still linked.
On the other hand, the interview has also served to know that Square Enix valued the launch of Final Fantasy VII Remake in Two parts, but finally decided to turn it all into a trilogy.
