Sharjah | The two-day International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) concluded with an award ceremony at the Sharjah Expo Centre. The winners were felicitated by Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council (SMC) at the closing event. The awards recognize organizations and individuals who have contributed to government communication and innovation.
Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi won the Personality of the Year award. Former American judge Frank Caprio became the best positive social impact driver.
Other Awards: Best Spokesperson- Ghannam Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of Emirati Talent Competitive Council, Best Government Communication Team- Dubai Customs, Best Integrated Communication Campaign- Abu Dhabi City Municipality, Best Communication for Reputation Building and Management- Dubai Police, Best Campaign Supporting Arabic Language- Sharjah Private Education Authority , Best Campaign for Strengthening Arab Values and Identity- Sharjah Holy Quran Academy, Best Social Responsibility Campaign- National Housing Company of Saudi Arabia, Best Food Security Program Communication Project- Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Livestock.
