National Seminar and Socialization of LoS Management of IKN Buildings and Areas (Atma Jaya Yogyakarta)

In an effort to improve the quality of life of the community through establishing service quality standards as well as measuring and evaluating Level of Service (LoS), the Nusantara Capital Authority (IKN) in collaboration with the Alumni Family of Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta (Kamajaya) held a National Seminar and Socialization on LoS Building Management and IKN area, on Saturday (16/3).

Chairman of the Kamajaya Central Management, Desiderius Viby Indrayana, said that collaboration with the business world and academics is very important to realize smart, green and sustainable development in IKN.

“The preparation of the LoS involved academics from Atma Jaya University as well as academics from various other universities in Indonesia. In the future, this LoS will become a living document or growing document that will be used as a development reference until 2045,” said Viby.

Director General of Housing of the PUPR Ministry, Iwan Suprajipto, said that standardization of building concepts must be prepared and used as guidelines for development and management. Moreover, the IKN concept is different from other cities in Indonesia.

“We have the task of regulating its use and management. If the implementation goes well, of course the benefits will be felt by everyone. One way is by extending the building’s useful life until the optimal time or even more so that it can create a city that is comfortable and enjoyable for all,” he said .

Meanwhile, the chairman of the event committee, Blasius Lukkie Putranto, said that his party hopes that there will be significant improvements in the management of urban infrastructure and services. This is in accordance with the government’s commitment to building a sustainable and highly competitive IKN.

“Support from various parties, such as government authorities, non-governmental organizations, academics and industry players, emphasizes the importance of collaboration to reach consensus in determining the desired service quality standards,” said Blasius.

The event which took place at Atma Jaya University Campus II Thomas Aquinas, DI Yogyakarta, was attended by the Director of Financing of the IKN Authority Muhammad Naufal Aminuddin, Director of Flats at the Ministry of PUPR RI Aswin Grandiarto Sukahar, Director of Internal Compliance for Highways at the Ministry of PUPR RI Vincentius Untoro Kurniawan, Expert Policy Analyst Madya Setyarso Wahyudiono.

Then, Management of Buildings and Residential Areas, Associate Expert Ir. Isrodianson, Intermediate Expert Construction Services Supervisor Yustinus Ari Wijaya, Construction Safety Committee of the Ministry of PUPR, Ir. Akhmad Suraji., Deputy Chancellor III Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta, Yosef Daryanto, Main Director of Adhi Persada Gedung, Ir. Yan Arianto, as well as other related staff.

On the same occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreement (PKS) were also signed between Kamajaya and the National Association of Indonesian Consultants, Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Faculty of Engineering, Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta.

This activity is strongly supported by various parties such as Avian Brands, PT Adhi Persada Gedung, Juma Berlian Exim, Moritz Hospitality, Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), Graha Foundation Semesta, P3sM, Indonesian Engineers Association Safety Committee, and Occupational Health and Environment (PII-K3L), the National Association of Indonesian Consultants, and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
