Throughout the season, Florent Pagny did not doubt for a single second the potential of his young talent. Present on the set of 20 hours from TF1, the 60-year-old singer could not say whether or not he would be present at the direct telecrochet which started in May (the previous stages were pre-recorded). “I have six months of chemo to do, I don’t know how I will be even if the first went well. Anything can happen. I can be fine or tired“, he had declared.
The coach, however, ensured his role until the end. “I’m fine“, he reassures during the semi-final where he appeared with drawn features and a shaved head. Asked by our colleagues from GalaFlorent Pagny announced the decision he had taken for the post-The Voice, the most beautiful voice. “After The Voice, I continue with my last chemotherapy, and after that, it’s over! I’m going to fix myself, enjoy life, my loved ones close to nature and it’s a chance. I will check regularly during these six months of break. Then I’ll come back.”
