There are now fears that government work will come to a standstill. In addition, the interim budget passed by the US Congress over the weekend does not provide for any further aid for Ukraine. What impact does this cautious US line have on the war in Ukraine? Former US President Donald Trump is heavily involved in the struggle for chairmanship of the House of Representatives. He would like to move back into the White House after the 2024 elections. How much does this power struggle in US politics affect Europe? Does Russia have the staying power in the Ukraine war, and is the West running out of steam when it comes to arms deliveries and sanctions? And are Trump and Putin triggering a populist boom in Europe?
