The Media Cricket Championship for the Jacob’s Everrolling Trophy will be held on the 27th of this month at the Skyline College Grounds, Sharjah, under the auspices of the IMF (IMF), a consortium of Indian journalists in the UAE.
The match is from 1 p.m. The championship is co-sponsored by Victoria Cricket Academy and Sports Facilities, Dubai SPSA Cricket Academy and Black Pegasis Cricket Club. Winners will receive a cash award and a trophy. Phoenix Jacob, Managing Director of Jacob’s Farm and Camping, is the main sponsor.
Lulu Group and Ustad Hotel will co-sponsor the Global Media Hub Championship. Coordinators Raju Mathew, Shinoj Shamsuddin and Sujith Sundaresan said the cricket match was aimed at creating awareness among the members of the community regarding health care. The association had earlier hosted a football match and a badminton championship.
