15 days of training at 2,500 meters altitude. The French Boxing Federation sent a contingent to prepare in Sierra Nevada (Spain), as soon as they returned from the holidays, to build up their strength for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The silver medalist at the Rio Games in 2016, Sofiane Oumiha was there, along with Amina Zidani and Makan Traoré.
In 2021, the French boxers left Tokyo through the back door, without a single Olympic medal, while the discipline had been the most productive for the Blues in Brazil during the previous Olympics (6 medals, with 2 of each metal). In Paris, they will be expected (particularly the headliners Sofiane Oumiha and Estelle Mossely) for a redemption operation, in front of their audience. For the moment, seven French representatives have already validated their tickets.
