Today, Wednesday, the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the National Social Insurance Authority will begin implementing the decision to disburse double the exceptional grant to owners Pensions For its beneficiaries, it will become 600 pounds instead of 300 pounds, and it will be disbursed retroactively starting in October 2023.
Article 102 of the Executive Regulations of the Social Insurance and Pensions Law specifies the controls and conditions for entitlement to an old-age, disability, and death insurance pension, and specifies the conditions in the event of early withdrawal from the pension. Clause No. (7) came in cases of entitlement to a pension, which is in the event of the end of the service, work, or activity of the insured. (c) The aforementioned subscription period shall include twenty actual years, and this period shall be increased to twenty-five actual years as of January 1, 2025.
(d) Submit a disbursement request in accordance with the attached form No. (20).
(e) The insured is not subject to old age, disability and death insurance in accordance with the provisions of the law on the date of submitting the payment request.
According to the article, in order to disburse the pension in case No. (7) of this article, it is required to pay all the amounts due from the insured related to the subscription periods or the current value of the premiums due in accordance with the attached Table No. (11).
President Sisi ratified Law No. 172 of 2023 by deciding an increase in the exceptional cost of living allowance for employees subject to the Civil Service Law and state workers not subject to it, and by deciding an increase in the exceptional grant for workers in public sector companies and the public business sector, established under Law No. 166 of 2022 and granting pensioners. Or those entitled to an exceptional grant, and by amending some provisions of the Social Insurance and Pensions Law promulgated by Law No. 148 of 2019, which was approved by the House of Representatives.
The law stipulates that, “As of October 1, 2023, the exceptional cost of living allowance stipulated in Law No. 166 of 2022 referred to will be increased to 600 pounds per month, provided that it is granted to employees who are subject to the provisions of the Civil Service Law promulgated by Law No. 81 of 2016, and state workers who are not subject to it.” This increase will benefit whoever is appointed from among the employees or workers after the entry into force of this law, and this increase is considered part of the supplementary wages or variable wages for each of them, as the case may be.
