Private AIannounced this week, is an architectural approach aimed at balancing commercial gains from AI with privacy needs and organizational compliance. This collaboration was born from the Joint Innovation Lab of IBM and VMware.
Technically, to achieve this, IBM and VMware associent VMware Cloud Foundation, Red Hat OpenShift et la IBM watsonx data and AI platform. This combination will allow businesses to access watsonx in private environments, on-premises, on IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), as well as in the hybrid Cloud. The idea, which is in its early stages, is to implement transparent and explainable AI models.
Using Red Hat OpenShift, customers can now use watsonx on-premises for applications deployed on VMware. Customers can optionally use IBM Cloud Satellite to automate and simplify deployment and Day 2 Operations of their VMware Private AI environments with OpenShift.
BM Consulting plans to integrate IBM watsonx and VMware Private AI services into its exclusive service IBM Consulting Cloud Accelerator in order to accelerate the Cloud transformation process.
