Bregenz – After a confirmed case of measles in a child in Lustenau, the Vorarlberg State Medical Directorate once again called for vaccination. In the meantime there is another suspected case, the result will be available at the beginning of next week, according to state medical director Wolfgang Grabher. Measles has become rarer thanks to vaccination – there have only been five cases in Vorarlberg since 2017 – but the lack of vaccination coverage is now “worrying”, says Grabher.
