Product recall of the BLÅVINGAD fishing game due to a possible choking hazard.

Vösendorf (OTS) – For IKEA, the safety of its customers is the top priority. That’s why IKEA is recalling the BLÅVINGAD fishing game. There is a risk of suffocation.

IKEA asks all customers who own the affected BLÅVINGAD fishing game to stop using it. This is a seasonal item. The recall applies to all date stamps.

IKEA develops all of its products using a rigorous risk assessment and testing program to ensure they comply with all applicable laws and standards of the countries in which they are sold. We have now learned that despite all care, there is a risk that small rivets on the toy can come loose, which poses a choking hazard, especially for smaller children. Therefore, the BLÅVINGAD fishing game is being recalled as a precaution.

The BLÅVINGAD fishing game can of course be returned to any IKEA store for a full refund. A proof of purchase (invoice) is not required.
