Great experiences for the talented K19 goalkeeper of Panachaki Konstantinos Stathopoulos, who has been in Madrid since Easter Monday (6/5) with the mission of the Athens Goalkeepers Academy. Stathopoulos is among the 14 evaluated goalkeepers from all over Greece and abroad, who will remain in the Spanish capital until Sunday, May 12.
The aim is for them to train in the training centers of La Liga teams, to gain specialized knowledge and unique experiences, but also to get in touch with Spanish sports and not only culture.
The team consists of goalkeepers who were evaluated on Greek soil in the last two Camps of the Athens Goalkeepers Academy, in the summer and Christmas of 2023.
Konstantinos Stathopoulos and the rest of the young players will be at the facilities of teams such as Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano, where they will be further assessed by their goalkeeper coaches.
The mission is accompanied by the Head of the Athens Goalkeepers Academy, Christos Lambrou.
