Last Friday, the president of our Federation of Volunteer Firefighters of Santiago del Estero Alfredo García and the treasurer Elio Bejarano, were received by the deputies Andrés Sedrán and Ernesto Mazoud in the Provincial Chamber.
The meeting was in order to publicize the organization and work of the Provincial Federation of Firefighters as well as the Associations that throughout the Santiagueño territory protect the life and property of its inhabitants.
They also presented before the legislators the text of the national law No. 27,629 called the Strengthening Law, which requires the adhesion of our province, national regulations that directly benefit the Volunteer Firefighters and the Associations.
Both took the meeting with great interest and predisposition regarding the reality of the provincial Fire Department system and its concerns and needs, culminating in the commitment to continue working in order to deepen the institutional relationship between the Provincial State and Volunteer Fire Departments in pursuit of development and growth of existing Associations and formation in our province.
