Important notice: Water outage in Giza. We would like to inform the residents of the Nahia area and its surrounding areas in Giza Governorate that water will be cut off in the area on Saturday, March 23, for a period of 4 hours, starting from six in the morning until ten in the morning.
Causes of water outages
The reason behind this outage is the work of connecting a new water line with a diameter of 300 mm, with the aim of improving pressures in the areas of Nahia Street, 6th of October Street, Al-Qanaya and the surrounding areas. These works are necessary to ensure the provision of better water service to the residents.
Measures taken
The Giza Water and Sanitation Company confirms the provision of drinking water vehicles in the areas affected by the water outage. If water is needed, please call the water company hotline at 125.
Advice for residents
- It is recommended to store enough water to use during the outage period.
- Make sure to close all taps tightly to avoid any wastage of water when it returns.
- Take advantage of the available water truck service if necessary.
