This Saturday the people of Neuquén met once again to support Argentina in different parts of the city. The fans lived the confrontation with Australia with a lot of nerves, but finally they celebrated the triumph that took the National Team to the quarterfinals of the World Cup.
In the Gigante del Este, located in the Provincias Unidas neighborhood, the municipality of the capital set up a giant screen and sound, as well as in the SAF in the San Lorenzo neighborhood. Many families came to the gym to share the moment and watch the game with other neighbors. Both adults and children lived the match with a lot of nerves and excitement.
Finally, the Argentine team prevailed 2-1 and the celebrations took place again in the center of the city. The place was fenced in advance and, in addition, there were police controls to enter the area of the monument to San Martín due to the incidents that occurred last Wednesday.
