Hungary at EURO 2024
The Hungarian national football team was drawn into a group with hosts Germany, Scotland and Switzerland in the draw for the 2024 European Football Championship on Saturday.
The specific performance schedule was also announced at the ceremonial ceremony in Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie. Accordingly, the team starts with the national coach Marco Rossi on June 15th at 3 p.m. in Cologne once morest Switzerland in Group A, before facing Germany in Stuttgart on June 19th (from 6 p.m.) and Scotland on June 23rd (from 9 p.m.).
Hungary already played once morest Germany at the last European Championship. The final group game in summer 2021 ended in a dramatic 2-2 draw, with Germany fortunately progressing and Hungary being eliminated at the end of the group stage. The Hungarian team has never played in a European Championship tournament once morest the other two group opponents drawn for the 2024 finals, Scotland and Switzerland.
