In addition to the Eid prayers in the mosques in Kuwait, the Ministry of Awqaf has given permission for Eidgahs. This year, special Eid musallas will be allowed in youth centers and squares, Awqaf Minister Issa al-Kandari said. He made the announcement on Twitter.
The minister said the Eidgahs would also be allowed this time, adding that the decision was part of following the Prophet’s practice. The Eid Gahs will be held at youth centers, sports centers and grounds designated by the Ministry of Awqaf. A detailed schedule will be released by the Ministry of Awqaf later. Last year, Awqaf facilitated Eidgah in 30 centers in six governorates.
