At least 15 servicemen of the Armenian armed forces were killed in a fire in the barracks. Three others were injured and are in critical condition.
The fire broke out in the barracks of an engineer company in a military unit on the territory of the village of Azat, Gegharkunik region, at 1:30 (0:30 Moscow time). The village is located in the east of Armenia, not far from the border with Azerbaijan. No possible cause of the fire was reported.
